Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Solicitor to join our Litigation Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a range of property litigation cases, including probate disputes, commercial property disputes, and debt recovery claims. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and representation to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Handle a caseload of property litigation cases, including probate disputes, commercial property disputes, and debt recovery claims
  • Provide expert advice and representation to clients, including preparing cases, attending clients, and dealing with correspondence
  • Manage and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management procedures
Requirements
  • Property litigation experience in private practice
  • Valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying
  • Strong client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded litigation work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Experience in own advocacy is an advantage
