Teaching Opportunity in a Coeducational Setting

We are seeking an experienced Religious Education teacher to join our dynamic team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Religious Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Religious Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They will also have experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.

This is a full-time position, and the salary will be paid on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach Religious Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
