The Wayman Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Religious Education teacher to join their thriving department at an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in Preston.

As a highly respected school in the local community, we offer a supportive environment where teachers can grow and develop their skills. Our Religious Education team achieves excellent outcomes and fosters a passion for the subject among students of all abilities.

We are looking for a committed and ambitious teacher who shares our passion for Religious Education and has a drive to secure outstanding results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Religious Education to GCSE and A-level, as well as experience with Ofsted-rated good practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Religious Education to students across all key stages
  • To contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent student outcomes
  • To provide guidance and support to students in achieving their full potential

Requirements:

  • Degree in Religious Education or a related field
  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Experience teaching Religious Education to GCSE and A-level
  • Strong communication and ICT skills

Salary: MPS/UPS scale
