Religious Education Teaching Position in Preston

We are seeking a qualified Religious Education teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Religious Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Religious Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They will also have experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.

This is a full-time position, and the salary will be paid on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS. We estimate the salary to be around £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Religious Education
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting
