About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services in Kent. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal and external patrols, day and night, in all weather conditions to ensure the security and integrity of the site.
  • Manage access to the site at various control points, vehicle barriers, and reception stations, ensuring adherence to access control measures and identification checks.
  • Perform musters, evacuations, and other roles as required in the event of an emergency.
  • Conduct searches of vehicles and bags to maintain high security levels and meet client requirements.
  • Escort and chaperone VIPs and other visitors as needed.
  • Issue keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
  • Report and record any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Licence (close protection or door supervisor as a minimum)
  • Driving Licence
  • 5 years Security Experience
  • 5 year checkable employment/education history
  • Great customer service experience
  • Strong spoken English
