Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Financial Management will lead the Financial Management, Costing, and Income functions for the Trust. They will provide accurate, timely, and robust financial information to clinical and managerial colleagues, supporting the Trust's strategic objectives and ensuring it meets its strategic financial targets.

  • Oversee production of Service Line Reporting on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure business cases within the Trust receive sound financial support.
  • Develop schemes to mitigate underperformance and maintain robust budgetary control systems.
  • Attend Board Sub-Committees.

Candidates must be fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with 5 years post qualification experience at a senior level in finance, including staff management and development, presenting complex financial information to managers and clinicians, and interpreting internal and external pressures to inform Business Planning.
