About the Job

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing formalized peer support and practical assistance to help individuals engage with their local communities and benefit from available supports.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of support services.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and clinicians, utilizing co-production methodologies to drive positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to research projects or audits, applying your expertise and experience to inform best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Completion of peer support work competencies as defined by ImROC.
  • Personal lived experience of mental health distress.
  • Personal experience of accessing primary or secondary mental health services.
  • Evidence of further related training.
Salary and Benefits
  • $31,081 to $33,665 per annum inclusive of 15% HCAS.
