Unser Kunde ist ein namhafter japanischer Handelshaus mit Sitz in Düsseldorf. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt weltweit etwa Mitarbeiter, davon ca. 75 in Deutschland, verteilt auf zwei Standorte.

Wir suchen einen Experten, der als Hauptansprechpartner das umfangreiche Thema Sustainability betreut und eine Europa-weite Reporting Strategie aufbaut und umsetzt.

Nach Fähigkeiten und Wunsch, gibt es auch die Möglichkeit bei Compliance Themen mitzuwirken.

Eine langfristige Entwicklungsperspektive zum Abteilungsleiter ist ebenfalls gewährleistet.

Stellenbeschreibung

In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie als Zweier-Team sehr eng mit Ihrem Vorgesetzten, dem Abteilungsleiter der Qualitätsabteilung zusammen, wo das Thema Sustainability neu eingegliedert wurde.
Hauptfokus Ihrer Aufgabe ist erst einmal Strukturen für das Sustainability Management aufzubauen.

Parallel übernehmen Sie nach und nach Aufgaben im Bereich Qualität von Ihrem Vorgesetzten, sodass Sie ihn in diesem Bereich nicht nur unterstützen können, sondern langfristig auch nach Wunsch seinen Posten als Abteilungsleiter der Gesamtabteilung übernehmen können.

Zu Ihren konkreten Aufgaben gehören im Detail:

  • Verantwortung für den Europaweiten Aufbau einer Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung gemäß der Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) sowie anderer relevanter Vorschriften
  • Durchführung des Supply Chain Reportings, einschließlich des deutschen Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetzes und der EU-Richtlinie zur Sorgfaltspflicht in Lieferketten
  • Agieren als lokaler Ansprechpartner für Compliance-relevante Themen wie das Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz und Datenschutz
  • Unterstützung des Abteilungsleiters für Qualitätsmanagement bei weiteren anfallenden Aufgaben im Bereich Quality, um diese in der Zukunft sukzessiv übernehmen zu können.
  • Bei Bedarf als Kommunikationsschnittstelle zwischen den Geschäftsabteilungen und der lokalen Anwaltskanzlei fungieren z.B. in Fragen des Unternehmens- und Handelsrechts, bei M&A Aktivitäten sowie bei vertragsrechtlichen Themen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Niederlassungen in Hamburg, London, Paris und Mailand, einschließlich gelegentlicher Vor-Ort-Besuche
Besondere Anforderungen
  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung gerne z.B. im Bereich Business Administration
  • Einschlägige Praktische Erfahrung/ Kenntnisse im Bereich Sustainability/ ESG, insbesondere im Bereich des CSRD reportings
  • Kenntnisse über weitere Themen wie Whistleblower Protection Act, Datenschutz, Qualität etc. ebenfalls von Vorteil
  • Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch auf verhandlungssicherem Niveau
  • Exzellente Kommunikations- sowie interkulturelle Fähigkeiten, gleichzeitig analytische, durchsetzungsstarke, aber flexible Persönlichkeit
  • Ausgewiesener Teamplayer mit der Fähigkeit auf unterschiedlichen Hierarchie-Ebenen zu kommunizieren
  • Offenheit für gelegentliches Reisen zu den anderen europäischen Niederlassungen
