About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Quality Assurance Expert to join our team, focusing on supplier relations. As a key member of the Quality Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing non-conformance issues and conducting audits of the production supply chain.

Our ideal candidate has experience working with suppliers, specifically in quality assurance roles, and is passionate about ensuring high-quality products. You will work closely with internal customers to identify suppliers for surveillance planning activities, schedule audits, and review corrective actions.

The role involves conducting quality audits/assessments in line with the surveillance plan and against the supplier contracted quality requirements. Your primary objective is to reduce project risk by verifying that suppliers meet the required standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage major equipment supplier product non-conformance, facilitating defect investigation processes and implementing corrective actions.
  2. Provide supplier Non-Conformance data analysis and summary reports, identifying improvements for the supplier non-conformance management process and its implementation within SAP.
  3. Work closely with internal customers to identify suppliers for surveillance planning activities and schedule audit tasks.
  4. Conduct quality audits/assessments in line with the surveillance plan and against the supplier contracted quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience of quality management systems, techniques, and processes, especially during industrialisation and manufacturing phases.
  • Working knowledge of external standards, such as EN9100, and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Auditing experience covering product and/or quality system audits.
  • Practical knowledge of non-conformance management processes and SAP business tools.
  • Ability to travel and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ideal qualifications include a minimum HND or HNC in Engineering or Quality Assurance.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, up to £50,000, and a range of benefits including a bonus of up to £2,500, paid overtime, strong pension, 25 days annual leave with the option to accrue 15 additional flexi leave days, enhanced parental leave, and hybrid working arrangements.
