Key Responsibilities
  • Manage product and quality assurance related tasks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare project-specific Product Assurance Plans and verify compliance throughout the entire supply chain
  • Support parts, materials and processes quality assurance activities
  • Participate in design reviews and customer/supplier reviews
  • Support the non-conformances/critical items/change control processes
  • Review of processes, drawings, procedures, test data, and inspection records to specifications
  • Perform quality assurance tasks during Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test activities in-house and at vendor's facilities
  • Support in-house Quality Management System activities and initiatives
  • Act as a key point of contact for all quality-related activities of customers and suppliers
  • Support the development of the supply chain to meet project requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in Product or Quality Assurance in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably spaceflight
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100) deliverables in an industrial environment
  • Ability to write technical documents and use quality tools, methods and procedures
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following disciplines: RAMS, Radiation, EEE Parts, Materials and Processes
  • Managing suppliers towards delivery of quality goods and services
  • Experience working with European Space Agency processes and projects and to international standards
