Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective quality assurance support to the manufacturing team in delivering production ramp up and offload while adhering to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage non-conformances across projects, including defect investigations, data analysis, and summary reports for engineering and senior management reviews.
  • Undertake root cause analysis of critical non-conformances using industry-wide problem-solving methods.
  • Identify quality issues and risks related to project milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide independent quality assurance views on project compliance with MBDA BMS processes and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in the Project Quality network to report and share quality assurance status.
  • Maintain contractual quality planning documentation and regular dialogue with MBDA Centre of Excellences.
  • Support the project team in developing local processes and delivering training.

Requirements:

  • HND education or experience in Engineering and Quality Management is preferred.
  • Practitioner of current QA problem-solving methods (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools and understanding of non-conformance management using SAP is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for influencing others in a collaborative way.

Salary Information:

Circa £42,500 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for company bonus, pension, overtime, flexi-leave, enhanced parental leave, and other benefits.
