About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Recovery and Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective engagement, harm reduction, and recovery-focused interventions in both community and prison settings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions to service users in community and prison settings.
  • Provide arrest referral services and ensure a seamless link between police, prison custody suites, and the community.
  • Develop and deliver structured group work programs using evidence-based approaches, including SMART Recovery and Foundations of Recovery.
  • Provide assertive outreach services to service users in their local community, homes, and accommodation.
  • Manage referrals of individuals seen at the police station or referred by police or custody nurses.
  • Support peer initiatives and service user feedback.

About you:

We are looking for an individual with excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience working in the criminal justice or related field. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the harmful effects associated with drug misuse and offending in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employability, and personal relationships.
