Job Title: Senior Aerodynamicist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Aerodynamicist to join our team at Red Bull's Formula 1 operation. As a key member of our aerodynamics department, you will be responsible for generating new aerodynamic concepts and designs for our race car, as well as efficient testing and analysis of those concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create new geometries using CAD software
  • Submit geometries to wind tunnel and CFD testing, and manage the process
  • Analyze results from CFD and wind tunnel testing, and recommend track testing of performant geometries
  • Define, specify, and manage effective and efficient wind tunnel tests
  • Conduct wind tunnel testing, including some shift work
Requirements:
  • At least four years' experience in F1 aerodynamics development
  • Strong, broad understanding of aerodynamics to degree level or above
  • Strong technical understanding of CFD and wind tunnel test techniques
  • Experience of running WT testing programs
  • Good CAD skills
  • Initiative and innovation
  • Team-player attitude and ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
