About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at MCG Construction. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our retail fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the site team, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
- Deliver daily inductions and toolbox talks to site personnel
- Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with the project lead to ensure project milestones are met
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues on site
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail fit-out industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, and SMSTS certifications
