Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at MCG Construction. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a large retail fit-out project in Hereford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the project lead and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Conduct daily inductions and toolbox talks to ensure site personnel are aware of their responsibilities and risks.
  • Monitor and control site costs, ensuring they are within budget.
  • Manage site personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, and SMSTS qualifications.
