About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiography Specialist to join our team at The Wilmslow Hospital. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in MRI and a postgraduate qualification in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of radiographers undertaking MRI procedures
  • Undertake MRI scans in line with clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Maintain competence in general x-ray as required
  • Support the Superintendent with staff development and rotas
  • Ensure exceptional communication with the team to deliver a smooth-running service
  • Deal with day-to-day staff queries and resolve within a reasonable timeframe
  • Take ownership of governance activities and provide compassionate patient-centered care

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate qualification in MRI
  • Extensive experience (5 years+) in MRI
  • Cardiac MRI experience is desirable
  • Experience with 3T scanning
