Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake and perform all departmental examinations to a high level of radiographic skill.
  • Assist Consultant Radiologists in performing examinations, adhering to radiation protection and sterile procedure protocols.
  • Provide radiographic cover in theatre examinations while adhering to protocols.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, such as image transfer, as required.
  • Report equipment faults and assist with stock control.
  • Participate in radiology department audits as needed.

Requirements:

  • BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Knowledge of radiography processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
