Echocardiography Specialist

Wilmslow Health Centre is a leading primary care provider based in the East Cheshire/South Manchester area. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our Echocardiography Team.

This is a bank role with a competitive hourly rate of £28, offering flexibility to work throughout the year.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can perform echocardiograms and produce reports suitable for primary care referrers. The successful candidate will also take part in peer review and quality assurance exercises regularly.

To be successful in this role, you will need to use initiative, apply problem-solving approaches, and report complex diagnostic echocardiograms without supervision at an independent level.

You will also be required to communicate effectively with patients, showing empathy and emotional support when needed. A strong team player, you will be able to build rapport with patients and display a passionate attitude towards delivering high-quality healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent and be well-versed in basic diagnostic skills expected of a band 7 cardiac physiologist or higher. They will also possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
