Specialist Learning Support Practitioner for Children with SEN

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialist Learning Support Practitioner to join our team at Progress Teachers Ltd, supporting students with diverse learning needs in a local area.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the academic experience of students with SEN, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:- Support teachers in delivering effective and inclusive lessons.
- Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups.
- Implement and monitor individualized learning plans.
- Support students' emotional and social development.
- Observe and track student progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive classroom environment.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly with SEN and complex needs.
- Excellent communication and high empathy.
- A compassionate and patient approach to student support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students and adapt to various learning styles.
