Supporting Communication Needs in Young Learners

At Team Educate Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Makaton-trained Learning Support Practitioner to join our team.

The Role:
As a Makaton Trained Learning Support Practitioner, you will be part of a dedicated team providing support to children with communication difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to provide a tailored approach to each child's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to children with communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement effective communication strategies
• Use Makaton signs and symbols to support communication and understanding
• Monitor progress and adapt support to meet individual needs

Requirements:
• Makaton training and certification
• Experience working with children with communication difficulties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
