Supporting Young Learners with Communication Needs

At Team Educate Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated Makaton-trained Learning Support Practitioner to join our team.

The Role:

  • As a Makaton Trained Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children with communication difficulties.
  • Working alongside teachers and SEN coordinators, you will provide individualized support to help students overcome their challenges.
  • You will work closely with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with communication difficulties in a classroom setting.
  • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Makaton training and certification.
  • Experience working with students with communication difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
