About the Role

We're seeking a talented Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager to lead our geospatial project team at IO Associates in Huntingdon.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in Agile methodologies and geospatial project management to support the UK's national security.

Your experience in delivering geospatial projects such as GIS or IMINT, and working with the ESRI platform, will be valuable assets in this role.

To succeed in this position, you'll need to hold active UKSV/MoD DV clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation of Agile ceremonies, ensuring the team follows Agile principles.
  2. Mentor and coach the team on Agile methodologies to enhance their performance.
  3. Reward impediments and promote a culture of high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and improvement.
  4. Collaborate with external stakeholders and the MoD to achieve project goals.
  5. Work closely with product owners to prioritize backlogs and manage new requests.
  6. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and address issues proactively.
  7. Communicate project updates and changes to stakeholders effectively.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Scrum Master or Agile Project Management roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Successful track record in geospatial project delivery.
  • Ideal experience working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Active UKSV DV clearance required.
