Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at RAF Lakenheath. As a key member of our logistics readiness squadron, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment and vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a similar qualification, as well as a valid Category B driver's license. In addition, all successful applicants will require a security clearance and the right to work in the UK.
You will work 39 hours per week on a fixed schedule Monday to Friday, with start and end times subject to change due to mission needs. Your duties will include performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and providing training and assistance to others.
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £55 per hour, 25 days' annual leave plus UK bank holidays, paid sick leave, and a pension scheme.
