We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. This role involves working on heavy machinery, ensuring manufacturing plants are safe, functional, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mechanical and health and safety tests to ensure systems are reliable.
  • Tackle tasks both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty or confined spaces – full protective equipment and safety support will always be provided.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs A-C (9-4) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications, and be aged 18 or above. We offer a structured apprenticeship with clear career progression opportunities and a supportive workplace culture prioritising safety, teamwork, and development. Our estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
