Bellrock Group is seeking a seasoned Solutions Director to drive commercial growth of the Facilities Management business. The ideal candidate will execute the new business strategy, building strategic relationships with target clients and developing high-quality, commercially viable FM solutions. This role combines proactive sales methodologies with reactive opportunity management, requiring expertise in FM solution design, tender/bid response, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with target clients identified in the new business strategy and client relationship model.
- Provide expertise in support of FM solution design and tender/bid response, creating market-leading responses.
- Design and develop technology-led, positively differentiated client value propositions and solutions.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, capturing all activity and progress in the Hubspot CRM system.
- Lead client sales meetings, utilizing knowledge and expertise to effectively demonstrate capability and potential of Bellrock products/services.
- Lead negotiations and manage the deal-making process for bids, strategic partnerships, and other new business opportunities.
- Achieve high win rates across new business opportunities.
- Lead renewal activity for selected strategic accounts and share best practice with other teams working on their own renewals.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Create tailored value propositions for customers/clients based upon their needs and requirements.
- Track and manage tenders through defined ITT timescales, responding to client information requests and coordinating contribution from internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to produce frequent and insightful FM thought leadership market messages.
- Undertake extensive networking and communication through multiple in-person and online channels, fora, and events.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support the sales process from initial contact, solution design, bid development, and through to mobilisation.
- Maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the FM market and Bellrock competitors, ensuring solution design is aligned with new technology and service delivery trends.
- Be an expert in Bellrock products and services and become self-sufficient in presenting and designing FM solutions to meet client requirements.
- Represent the company at FM industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Bellrock's brand and establish strategic partnerships with external partners.
- Build relationships with and engage the Operations team to assist in creating winning solutions, deals, and customer proposals.
- Lead strategic renewal activity for selected clients, ensuring that work to renew contracts is commenced early and achieves excellent retention rates of 90% plus.
Essential Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Capable of building trust and leading consultative solution design and selling.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a keen eye for identifying market trends and turning these into opportunities for Bellrock growth.
- Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills, with a demonstrable ability to structure and close complex business agreements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (Hubspot preferred), sales analytics software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and other business development activities.
- Strong knowledge of IFM will be a distinct advantage.
