Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our net zero and environmental ambitions as the Associate Director, Sustainability at the University of Oxford.

This strategic role involves providing direction to the Sustainability Team, delivering energy efficiency, biodiversity, sustainable construction and retrofit, travel policy, and waste reduction initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sustainability initiatives across diverse and complex portfolios, with outstanding stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.

A competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in driving forward our environmental goals.

The team currently encompasses twenty-two staff, and we have ambitious plans for the future. This is a unique opportunity for a sustainability professional to take a leadership role across a large-scale, diverse estate portfolio in a sector-leading environment.
