Job Role Summary
At St Philips Care Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our residential care team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity, well-being, and quality of life are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and Coordinating Care Teams
Lead, develop, and coordinate a team of care workers to deliver the highest standards of care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained. - Care Planning and Delivery
Be responsible for the care planning process, maintaining accurate records, and delivering care that meets the individual needs of our residents. - Medication Administration
Administer medication to residents as required, ensuring accurate and timely administration. - Observation and Reporting
Regularly observe and report any changes in residents' condition, ensuring prompt attention to their needs. - Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other care staff to ensure seamless care delivery and a high-quality service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Care Qualifications
NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. - Care Experience
Previous experience in a senior care role, preferably in a residential care or nursing home setting. - Personal Qualities
A passion for care of the elderly and a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
