Personal Assistant for Home Support

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Support Worker for an elderly client in Berwick-upon-Tweed. This role requires 24 hours of work per week at a competitive hourly rate of £16.88.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and support to the client, including administering medication and assisting with daily activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client, their family, and other healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively with the client's healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centered care plans that promote independence and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports on the client's progress and any concerns
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as health and social care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work patterns
- Valid DBS check and willingness to undergo additional training as required
