About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mental health practitioner to join our East Sussex CAMHS Team as a Senior Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessments and treatment to children and families experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the day-to-day leadership of the clinical team, providing a high-quality service within the resources available.
  • Deliver specialist mental health assessments to young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
  • Liaise with other agencies and professionals to develop ongoing positive working relationships and support young people in crisis.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in occupational therapy, nursing, social work, or doctorate in clinical psychology.
  • Registration with HCPC/NMC/Social Work England.
  • Training in the use of standardized assessment tools.
  • Broad experience of working with clients with a range of mental health problems.
  • Experience in leadership, including leading on projects.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary working and supervising staff and students.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £43,742 to £50,056 per annum, pro rata for part-time. The role also comes with a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000, subject to terms and conditions.
