We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer - Field Operations to join our team in Central Eastern England. As a key member of our service business, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment and associated products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience working on high-speed rotating equipment. A valid full driving licence and current right to work in the United Kingdom are required for this role.

This position offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including holiday entitlement, health cash plan, life assurance, and training opportunities.

  • Inspecting, servicing, commissioning and fault finding of new and existing equipment.
  • Assisting and training customer maintenance and supervisory personnel on how to operate our equipment and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Performing trial test runs when work is completed to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
  • Providing process and technical support to the department and customers.

A recognised apprenticeship or minimum level of technical training is essential for this role. You should also have a good level of competence with respect to electronic equipment testing, fault finding, reading schematic diagrams and using PLCs.
