Job Title: Communication and Engagement Specialist

Heriot-Watt University Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Communication and Engagement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategy for the TransiT project.

The Communication and Engagement Specialist will work closely with the TransiT research team to develop and maintain effective communication channels, including social media, website, and press releases. They will also be responsible for planning and managing stakeholder engagement events, including conferences, workshops, and meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, such as marketing or communications, and have demonstrable experience in communications and stakeholder engagement. They will also have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to research, analyze, and present complex information effectively.

The Communication and Engagement Specialist will be a key member of the TransiT team and will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategy for the TransiT project
  • Work closely with the TransiT research team to develop and maintain effective communication channels
  • Plan and manage stakeholder engagement events, including conferences, workshops, and meetings
  • Develop and maintain a range of communication materials, including social media, website, and press releases
  • Provide excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and communicate project information effectively
