Clinical Environment Caretaker Position - Alnwick Medical Group

The Alnwick Medical Group is a leading healthcare provider in Northumberland, serving patients across Alnwick and surrounding villages. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical environment caretaker to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

Salary: £9.50 - £11.50 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role

As a clinical environment caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of our clinic rooms, offices, and other areas within the practice. This will include tasks such as cleaning, waste disposal, and maintenance of equipment and storage areas.

You will also be required to adhere to health and safety procedures, infection control policies, and COSHH regulations. Previous experience working as a domestic staff member and knowledge of cleaning procedures are essential requirements for this role.

  • Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety procedures applicable to domestic staff
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures
  • Sound knowledge of infection control policies
  • Previous experience working as a domestic staff member
  • Experience of lone working
  • Experience of working in areas responsible for patient confidentiality
