Field Service Engineer Opportunity

Premier Group Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join an Engineering company in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and training of machinery both in the field and in the workshop.

The role will involve attending breakdowns, fault finding and repair on equipment, including controls, as well as preventative and planned maintenance. The ideal candidate will have knowledge or an interest in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, experience of working in a hands-on role, and the ability to work well alone as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend breakdowns and perform fault finding and repair on equipment
  • Carry out preventative and planned maintenance
  • Report on any alterations or additional requirements to existing systems
  • Maintain technical skills to support installed systems

Requirements:

  • Knowledge or an interest in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of working in a hands-on role
  • Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to undertake shift work
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and flexible with a strong work ethic

What We Offer:

Plenty of training is on offer for the person joining the team. The Field Service Engineer will be required to regularly report into the office in Leicester and will be covering the UK and overseas.
