Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

At MJM Industrial Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing material handling systems, working individually and as part of a team on various sites around the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks, including analytical troubleshooting, in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance as part of pre-agreed service contracts, involving changing out worn parts and checking associated components for wear and tear on both mechanical and electrical material handling systems.
  • Produce detailed service reports.
  • Support installation projects, modernisations, and warranty work.
  • Attend breakdowns with the ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair technical equipment.
  • Work individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UK and Ireland (some international travel).
  • Low Level Controls: Siemens S7 PLC, TIA Portal, Profibus, ASi-Bus networks.
  • Create RAMS related to the work to be undertaken and ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering background ONC or equivalent.
  • ECS card at a minimum, SSSTS, IOSH, and IPAF.
  • Possess a high level of electrical and mechanical controls knowledge.
  • Have worked in a similar role repairing and installation of material handling systems.
