Maintenance Director

As a Maintenance Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of maintenance on the site. You will work with a mix of new equipment and legacy systems, driving the development and enhancement of our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system to ensure it's fit for purpose and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of 3 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Drive the development and enhancement of our PPM system, ensuring it's fit for purpose and efficient.
Work Planning: Help plan and coordinate daily and weekly tasks for the maintenance team, ensuring smooth execution of scheduled work and addressing any breakdowns.
Contractor Management: Manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Project Involvement: Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, updating legacy systems, and integrating new equipment into the production process.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be multi-skilled
Experience with PPM systems, spare parts management, and contractor coordination.
Strong organisational and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
Must have contractor control and compliance experience

Competitive salary of £48,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
