About This Role

We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to support people affected by dementia in our Music and Memories group at Bryngwyn, Raglan.

As a Group Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that those affected by dementia feel welcome, comfortable, and supported in a group setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage with people affected by dementia, providing a listening ear and a friendly face
  • Support the delivery of activities and social events, promoting meaningful interactions and connections
  • Assist with setting up and tidying away after groups, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment

What You Will Gain
