About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting people affected by dementia? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Group Support Volunteer.
In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in helping people with dementia engage in activities and socialize with others in a group setting. Your friendly demeanor and ability to put others at ease will make a significant difference in their lives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with people affected by dementia.

As a Group Support Volunteer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Welcome and engage with people affected by dementia to help them feel comfortable and included.
- Provide support and encouragement to individuals during group activities.
- Help set up and tidy away at the end of each session.
We offer a competitive salary of £9.50 per hour, paid monthly, and a supportive work environment that values your contributions.
