About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Card Payment Fraud Specialist to join our Retail Risk division, responsible for optimising fraud management capabilities across the retail lending operations through the credit lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the card payments industry and experience in card fraud management and fraud role optimisation.

The key responsibilities of this role include developing, maintaining, and optimising transaction and payment fraud strategies across the business, maximising fraud detection rates while minimising false positives. Additionally, the successful candidate will enhance fraud mitigation for all card payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a focus on phishing attacks and fraudulent card provisioning requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise transaction and payment fraud strategies across the business.
  • Maximise fraud detection rates while minimising false positives.
  • Enhance fraud mitigation for all card payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a focus on phishing attacks and fraudulent card provisioning requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
  • Experience in card fraud management and fraud role optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the card payments industry.
  • Proficiency in Falcon, or similar fraud management tool.
  • Strong academic background in a STEM field.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
