About the Role

Egis, a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support the delivery of M25 Highways schemes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects across the project lifecycle, from design inception to close-out.
  • Lead end-to-end project management, including scheme development, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including planners, construction managers, project QS, asset managers, and designers.
  • Manage the P6 programme, identifying critical path activities and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Oversee commercial management, including cost planning, supply chain quotations, invoice review, forecasting, and collaborative cost reviews with the client and project team.
  • Commission and manage internal and external resources, ensuring quality, budget, and programme adherence.
  • Lead gateways and collaborative cost reviews, adhering to project governance procedures.
  • Provide routine reporting on project schedule, progress, risk, and commercial status to internal stakeholders and the client.
  • Engage with the Collaborative M25 Community, participating in balance scorecards, forums, and workshops as required.
  • Support the delivery of business sustainability activities and objectives.
  • Embody the Connect Plus Values.
Requirements
  • Project management experience, preferably with a recognized qualification, such as PRINCE2 or APMP.
  • Minimum degree qualification and membership of a relevant professional institution or working towards such qualification.
  • Broad skills, knowledge, and understanding of highway or structures engineering and associated design areas.
  • Knowledge of CDM and other H&S and Environmental legislation related to highway engineering.
  • Knowledge of the NEC (New Engineering Contract) and other relevant forms of contract.
