Job Description:
As a Complementary Therapy Volunteer at Farleigh Hospice, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing holistic care and support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Complementary Therapy treatments with patients and carers, in line with Farleigh Hospice policies and procedures. You will also be required to maintain professional development to facilitate the provision of an evidence-based service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out Complementary Therapy treatments with patients and carers
  • Maintain professional development to facilitate evidence-based practice
  • Complete required documentation
  • Provide feedback to patient's Key Worker and Well-being/Complementary therapy Co-ordinator

Requirements:
  • Hold a recognised professional qualification in complementary therapy(ies)
  • Have significant recent post-qualification professional practice
  • Maintain current registration with a recognised professional body

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
