This role is a key part of the Jean Heyes Reablement Unit team, providing administrative, reception, and clerical support to the unit. The successful candidate will work within the protocols and policies of Wrightington & Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deal with a wide range of public and professional staff in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Undertake clerical duties, including answering the telephone and relaying messages and enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other ward coordinators to provide effective support.
  • Make appointments and organise hospital transport.
  • Run errands between departments.
  • Provide effective verbal, written, and electronic communications.
  • Use initiative to promote new ideas and improve services in consultation with the departmental manager and team.
