About the Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our East Somerset team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with families, professionals, and other stakeholders to create positive outcomes for disabled children, young people, and their families.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • To assess and identify the needs of children and families, developing tailored plans to address these requirements.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and external partners to ensure effective delivery of services and programs.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
  • Substantial experience working with children and families in social work.
