Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead for Maternal and Child Health to join our team at NHS Somerset Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commissioning services that meet the needs of our local population.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning, with experience of leading teams and developing commissioning plans. You will work closely with stakeholders across the system to ensure that our commissioning strategies are aligned with national policy and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of commissioning plans that deliver improved health outcomes for our population
  • Collaborate with providers to transform pathways of care for women and children
  • Oversee the commissioning, service re-design, and transformation of women and children's services
  • Ensure effective governance arrangements are in place for mental health, learning disabilities, and autism
  • Support the development of a collective vision for integrated care and population health management

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a contributory pension scheme and generous annual leave allowance.
