About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and providing targeted interventions for patients presenting with suspected or actual mental health issues. You will also empower acute care staff with specialist mental health advice, enabling them to manage a wide range of mental health challenges effectively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
  • Engage in cross-system collaboration to provide integrated care.
  • Deliver regular training programs within the acute care setting to reduce stigma and enhance mental health awareness.

Requirements

  • RMN, Social Work, and Occupational Therapy Qualification.
  • Current registration with relevant professional body.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
