Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant at Winifred Dell Care Home in Brentwood, Essex.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care services.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
  • Engage with residents in meaningful activities and promote their independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
Salary Details:

The successful candidate will receive an estimated hourly rate of £13.40, based on the national average for Senior Care Assistants in Essex.

Requirements:
  • Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care OR three years' experience without an NVQ.
  • Experience in a nursing or care home OR as a home care worker.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks - Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Knowledge and practice of working with people suffering with dementia is desirable.
