Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in ensuring a safe, legal, and high-performing store environment, taking overall responsibility for the store during duty manager shifts.
  • Team Management: Manage, coach, and support colleagues, developing a motivated and empowered team through a positive and engaging management style.
  • Customer Service: Lead the team to provide an exceptional customer experience, setting us apart from competitors.
  • Performance Management: Carry out performance management and absence management as required.
  • Opening/Closing Procedures: Responsible for occasional opening and closing of the store, ensuring colleague safety and stock/cash security/accountability.
  • Cash Handling: Carry out cash reconciliations, voids, and refunds, and other management tasks for till colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous management or supervisor experience within a food retail or similar fast-paced operation.
  • Customer Focus: Committed to achieving and sustaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Leadership: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively, communicate and influence at all levels, and take appropriate action and make decisions.
