Rugby Borough Council is dedicated to both Community and Colleague growth, and we are looking for a skilled Visitor Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum and the Visitor Centre.

As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent visitor experience, working closely with our team to create a vibrant public space in the centre of Rugby.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, being proactive and flexible, and working well under pressure. Your brilliant communication skills will be essential in building strong relationships with visitors, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Front-of-house duties in the Art Gallery, Museum and Visitor Centre spaces
  • Assisting with events and exhibitions as required
  • Contributing to the development of new initiatives and projects

We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including:

  • 35 days leave (including 8 Bank Holidays and 3 extra days normally applied at Christmas) – Pro rata
  • Generous Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Annual leave purchase scheme

Salary: £24,027 - £25,183 (£8,441 - £8,848 pro rata)

Working Pattern: Friday 7 hours 09:45 to 17:15, Saturday 6 hours 09:45 to 16:15
