RBUK Legal Limited is seeking a dedicated Clinical Negligence Fee Earner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical negligence department, you will be responsible for handling a variety of cases, from initial client contact to final resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients, counsel, defendants, experts, and other third parties to ensure effective case management.
- Support senior solicitors with their caseloads, providing administrative and technical assistance as needed.
- Handle your own cases, taking ownership of the client relationship and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collate and review documentation and evidence, including medical records, to build a strong case.
- Obtain medical evidence and instruct counsel to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
- Take witness statements and attend case conferences to stay informed and up-to-date on case developments.
- Comply with internal procedures and best practices to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner, with a strong understanding of clinical negligence law and procedures.
- Exposure to a variety of clinical negligence cases, with a focus on CFAs and legal aid funded cases.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
