Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spares Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy. This role is crucial in supporting the Fluid and Mechanical Systems by reviewing, identifying and sourcing of equivalent instrumentation and components as a result of obsolescence.

About the Role

This position involves technical evaluation, coordination, and collaboration with internal departments, regional divisions, suppliers, and customers to ensure the availability and quality of replacement parts. The successful candidate will have experience in a Spares Engineering role within an associated or similar industry, with a strong understanding of system components and technologies, such as pumps, valves, piping, actuators, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source equivalent instrumentation and components for gas turbine package auxiliary systems, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications and drawings.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, regional divisions, suppliers, and customers to ensure the availability and quality of replacement parts.

Requirements

  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Spares Engineering role within an associated or similar industry.
  • Technical skills in system components and technologies, such as pumps, valves, piping, actuators, and instrumentation.
