Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Product Development

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering. This role is perfect for someone passionate about engineering who is eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the full product lifecycle, supporting the design, testing, and validation of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and develop your skills in new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design and validation of mechanical products.
2. Support the preparation and execution of test plans for new products.
3. Work with project engineers to provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
4. Collect and analyse data from test rigs and vehicles, reporting key findings.
5. Help manage and update project reports and documentation.
6. Participate in product characterization and assist with testing and validation efforts.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Motorsport Engineering, or related discipline.
2. Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Personal Attributes: Passion for engineering and technology, particularly in New Product Development. Eager to learn, develop, and grow within the company.
5. Compliance: Ability to follow company procedures and industry codes of practice.
